Mrs I wanted and new kitchen and needed more space . Luke was very professional and knowledgable. The wall was knocked down between the kitchen and garage. He then rebuilt and insulated the wall still leaving me a good storage space in the garage. The kitchen looks amazing, I am so pleased with it. The quality of work was top class and nothing was too much trouble. I also used him to do other jobs around the house too and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else needing any work done. New conservatory Luke, Rich, Ethan and team have done a wonderful job replacing my old leaking conservatory with a beautiful new one. Luke kept me informed throughout the build,all the team were trustworthy, helpful, polite and professional. I can highly recommend this company and luke as a very reliable, high standard of work and good attention to detail . We bought a very tired 1967 bungalow and both luke and Lewis smith ( architect) have created and made our dream home come true. What was a brain wave in the middle of the night, they listened to our ideas and developed them, enhanced them , and then performed the transformation. We are absolutely delighted with it. The team are awesome, all work together and have been brilliant every step of the way. Many thank you all involved, we are amazed by the whole journey of the build . It wasn’t without its problems…… ( concrete under floor boards from previous diy! Not luke)and budget smashed! I was banned from any more questions to the team!!! We can honestly say the stress has been well worth it . We look forward to living the dream!!

Professional Service Several years ago when Luke came to my property as a sub contractor to replace guttering, barge boards, upvc work; his quality of work & professionalism, stood out from the main contractor who was re roofing my property, even back then. Therefore, I had no hesitation to ask Luke to take on replacing a flat roof. He came up with a practical, cost effective way to fill in a redundant skylight. A few years later, he took on part of a larger renovation (reconfiguring & installing internal walls, doorways, walk in cupboard, replacing floors/ceilings) – I was again very pleased with the work. Recently, the kitchen fitter in his team worked miracles to make good someone else’s bad job. The issues the original kitchen fitter had installing a small kitchen with integrated appliances, which I paid him for 10 days, this fitter sorted out in less than 3 days! The rest of the team fitted internal doors, skirting, sliding doors, a difficult kitchen island, plastering, etc) Luke comes up with good ideas to help your designs come to life. His quote may not be the cheapest you will be offered but I can fully recommend his workmanship, prompt communications, invoicing, reliability, politeness & leaving the site tidy…..I wish him & the guys who work with him every success in the future.

Bathroom In replacing a bath with a shower cubicle, re-lining the wall and painting the bathroom, the finished product displayed craftsmanship and expertise of a very high quality – with which I am well pleased. Property renovations I have used Ls Building Services on several different property renovations and I could not be happier with the work provided by Luke. Would not hesitate to recommend Luke and his team at LS Building Services. We have just used them to build a timber-clad, block-built workshop/garage/carport together with walling, fencing and landscaping work. Throughout our project they have been extremely reliable, proactive, tidy, and respectful. Workmanship has been excellent throughout. Luke’s advice and project management was superb. Like most things in life you get what you pay for and we are really pleased with the end result.

Jacqui Delaloye I used LS Building services to repair/refurbish a leaking flat roof to a balcony, to replace the balcony balustrade and to repaint the house exterior. This was done during lockdown of Spring 2020. I have been very pleased with the work Luke has done. He is very professional, polite and highly reliable and he is also an excellent communicator. I always knew exactly what to expect, and when each stage of the work was going to take place (through lockdown this was quite a feat!) and Luke and his team have done a very good job. Great Work – really pleased. It sounded so simple – let’s knock down the wall between the kitchen and the dining room and swap everything around! Luke and his team made the job possible and carried it out with great efficiency and patience (the kitchen supplier was a very big disappointment & caused delays which Luke had to deal with). The removal of the thick, brick chimney was a test of planning, skill & knowledge together with pure brute force. New lintels had to be put in and we have had bi-fold doors installed, new engineered wood floor, a new boiler, lighting and new bespoke storage under the stairs. All the work has been finished to a high standard including the paintwork. Luke & the team cleaned up before they left each day, had a high attention to detail and the final finish was everything we hoped it would be. We would recommend Luke and his team for any building work, kitchen fitting, etc.

Mac & Anne I have used the services of Luke Smith several times. I was immediately impressed with the immaculate state of his tools and interior of his vehicle. Subsequently I discovered that when he left each evening you would not have known he’d been present, everything being left so tidy. Thoroughly recommended.

Best Builder I Have Ever Used We found Luke’s work was always first class. He certainly has a wide range of skills including project management and is always eager to please. I was impressed by the way he understood the issues with my house and the repairs required. I would not hesitate to use him again.

First Class Workmanship Luke just has to be the tidiest workman in the South West. A new made to measure stainless steel stair bannister installed with no mess. Seventy Two feet of replacement garden fence installed again with no mess. All completed on the same day, and at the quote given weeks before. We have no hesitation in giving Luke’s company five stars.

Wardrobe conversion. Luke at LS Building Services provided my wife and I an estimate for the conversion of a fitted bedroom wardrobe to a small second toilet/hand-basin room to our size specification. Luke and his fellow craftsmen completed the job having put in four solid days work, consulting and listening as necessary. My wife and I were super impressed by the workmanship and are delighted with the end product.

Bathroom LS Building Services carried out the conversion of our bathroom to a shower room. The work was to an extremely high standard. Staff were polite and listened to everything we had to say. An excellent job and I would have no hesitation recommending to other people.

Luke review Luke is so optimistic it’s untrue. As he starts the job he says there’s nothing to worry about – and there isn’t just as long as long as Luke is around. Luke is my hero.
